Your recordings and dreams
When you choose to record and submit a dream, Sfera uploads your recording to its backend to create a transcript, psychological interpretation and illustration using OpenAI. These are AI-generated reflections, not a diagnosis. Avoid including information about other people that you do not want processed.
Microphone access starts only after your action and stops when recording ends. Submitted dreams, transcripts, interpretations, images and confirmed feedback are stored on the server. Guest dreams have no automatic age-based deletion; they remain until you request deletion.
Dream recordings submitted through this website and voice-comment recordings are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours. Voice comments are transcribed into an editable draft: only your separate submission saves the draft as feedback. A storage outage can delay physical cleanup; failed deletions are retried.
Your session
Supabase Auth provides your guest session. Session credentials are stored in your browser so you can access your own data. Clearing browser storage can remove access to an unregistered guest session; it does not delete server data. Use “Download my data” or “Delete my data” before clearing it.
You can register with an email and password or with Google registering links your guest data to the account. With Google sign-in, Supabase receives your Google account identity, email and basic profile information for authentication; Sfera does not request access to your mailbox.
Export and deletion
From your current authenticated session you can download a ZIP containing your profile, dreams, interpretations, feedback and available images. You can also request deletion of all your guest or account data. Access is removed first; file and authentication-provider cleanup is retried until complete.
Where individual dream deletion is available, it moves a dream to Trash for 30 days before permanent deletion. Account deletion bypasses Trash. A protected identity-deletion receipt is retained for 30 days to prevent old credentials from recreating deleted data.
Processing services and backups
Sfera's current application database and file storage are hosted in Amsterdam. Supabase Auth is hosted in US East. OpenAI processes submitted content to provide transcription and generation. Cloudflare Turnstile checks guest enrollment and sign-in for automated abuse. Technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, is processed for security and service operation.
Encrypted full backups are scheduled daily. Up to seven daily recovery points are retained, with a maximum age of 30 days. A separate deletion journal is replayed before a restored API becomes available, so deleted records are removed from restored snapshots.
Feedback, email and analytics
Ratings and submitted comments are linked to your dream. We use service measurements, including completion and registration counts, to understand reliability and usage. Deleted users contribute only anonymous conversion aggregates. Third-party product analytics are not enabled. If you leave your email for the release notification, it is used only for that message and you can unsubscribe from the link in the email.
